Global Investor Visa

What forms are required to apply for an investor visa?

To apply for an EB-5 investor visa, applicants must complete several key forms throughout the process. The journey begins with form I-526 or I-526e, which demonstrates lawful investment of capital and job creation plans. If the applicant is outside the U.S., they must then file form DS-260 for visa processing at a U.S. consulate. If already in the U.S., they may file form I-485 to auto adjust status to conditional permanent residency. Finally, to obtain permanent residency, Form I-829 must be submitted with 90 days before the second anniversary of receiving a green card, proving the investment was sustained and jobs created.
